Our extensive data-collection process includes de-identifying data from multiple sources, which ensures that health information is both anonymized and protected from exposure to unauthorized access. We follow the terms and conditions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) explicitly. Any protected health information (PHI) data is de-identified, stored, and used for legitimate public health purposes, in full accordance with the law.
